The MIST22 is a RTD sensor built with a transmitter hermetically sealed in a stainless steel adapter only 2 inches long, with a highly stable and accurate 4 to 20mA output
The MIST22 is a general purpose sensor constructed with lead wire. The construction, it is the most commonly used sensor in numerous types of applications and is ideally suited to be used where any standard RTD's is used. Two construction are used, for low temperature applications -200 to +200ºC (-328 to + 392ºF) a tube construction is used, for higher temperature applications 200 to 600ºC (394 to 1112ºF), compacted MgO is used. Standard wire leads available are Teflon, Teflon with armor and Teflon with stainless steel overbraid. Armored leads provide superior mechanical protection. Fittings are optional and two basic types are available: fixed and adjustable compression. Fixed fittings are tig welded to the sheath. Adjustable fittings utilize a two piece tapperd ferrule consturction and are one-time adjustable. Standard threads available are NPT.
